About Me
Jordan Drexler, B.A., J.D.
I am a lawyer that practices exclusively in defending those charged with criminal and quasi-criminal offences. I graduated with distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Ancient Mediterranean Studies before attending law school at the University of Alberta.
During law school, I was heavily involved with Student Legal Services, a low-income clinic assisting those charged with criminal offences. After volunteering in my first year, I was hired on as a dayleader during my second and third years of law school. At Student Legal Services, I handled numerous cases and built a great foundation for practicing criminal law.
I then articled at a leading Alberta criminal defence firm where I was able to assist in a variety of cases such as murder, manslaughter, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and robbery.

I Understand Your Side
Being charged with an offence can be an extremely stressful and confusing experience. I have experience navigating the criminal justice system and will make the process as easy as can be. If I am your lawyer, I am on your team from beginning to end.
Open Communication
Not knowing what is happening with your case can be very frustrating. I make sure that you are informed and involved in all the important steps of your case. I do spend most of my days in court defending criminal charges and may be unable to take calls. However, I am diligent in following up with messages and emails as soon as possible.
Exhaust All Options
I prepare all cases as if they are going to trial. This approach ensures I am always properly prepared to advance the most effective defence at trial. Should you wish to resolve the matter it also allows me to negotiate from a position of strength for the best possible outcome.
